NYU STERN HOLI EVENT DESIGN
NYU Stern’s first-ever Holi celebration, hosted by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, aimed to foster cultural appreciation and bring students together through festivities, storytelling, and interactive experiences. The goal was to educate the Stern community on Holi’s significance while creating an inclusive space for all to celebrate.
I designed a cohesive visual identity for the event, creating posters and social media for campus promotion, menus for catered food stations, and slides for event presentations. Using bright colors and consistent typography, I ensured the designs captured the vibrancy of Holi. I also curated the Holi Cultural Exhibition, transforming it into a virtual gallery experience to highlight the festival’s history and significance.
The event received 1,000+ online views and 300+ in-person attendees, marking a successful and well-received celebration. The strong visual storytelling and promotion helped establish Holi as a recurring cultural event at Stern, reinforcing the school’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.
