About
Hi, my name is Sejal Bandil, and I am a student at New York University, studying Interactive Media Arts and Computer Science. I have a strong interest in UI/UX and interaction design.
My work is inspired by Don Norman’s The Design of Everyday Things and the principles of Psycho-Aesthetics by RKS Design, which emphasize the balance between functionality, emotion, and aesthetics in design. I am passionate about creating intuitive, accessible designs that cater to diverse needs. My favorite product is the Rubik’s Cube, a perfect example of intuitive design, problem-solving, and user engagement, all within a simple yet ingenious form.
I have refined my skills in design software such as Figma and the Adobe Suite as well as Python, Java and Arduino. I am continuously learning and experimenting with new design trends and technologies such as generative design and AI-driven interfaces. As an active participant in the NYU design community, I am eager to collaborate with passionate individuals to create innovative and impactful experiences.
